Right now in South Central Los Angeles, there’s a war going on no man is safe from. According to ABC7, the LAPD “issued a tactical alert Saturday night after multiple gang shootings in South Los Angeles.” The news station reports that the authorities are investigating five shootings that happened in the area that happened hours apart.
According to social media, these shootings are definitely related. According to a now disabled Instagram page, there is a gang competition of sorts happening now called “100 Days 100 Nights.”

“Just FYU don’t know if you guys who live in South Central LA heard about the 100 Days 100 Nights that’s been taking place for the past 5 days. Supposedly so far 27 people have been shot and I think they said 6+ have been killed.
Supposedly a gang member from Neighborhood Rollin 100’s was shot and killed aka as KP. So word is that 2 gangs made a bet to see who can get to 100 kills first and the other word is that they’re going to be shooting it up for 100 days straight. This is all happening between the streets of Normandie and Western all the way down to Imperial and up to Florence. Pass the word and tell your family and friends to be careful because they don’t care who they shoot…”
The Rollin’ 100’s are a Crip set in South Central. It is unknown who the other gang involved is, though it would be expected that it is a set from the rival Bloods. South Central has been a hotbed for gang violence for decades and countless lives have been lost, though nobody can tell you what the exact root of the killings. All of the California gang pioneers with that knowledge are long lost.
If you are in the South Central area mentioned above, it is suggested that avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes instead of driving through. It seems that the goons are playing the ultimate game of manhunt, except real lives will be lost, adding to the thousands who have been lost in this war.
