A Circle K Clerk Just Chased 3 Robbers From His Store; Almost Paid For It With His Life [Video]
A Circle K clerk was on the phone early Saturday when a trio of armed robbers burst into the gas station, rushed the counter and demanded money, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. The gloved and hooded masked men stormed the Circle K at Cypress Parkway and North Doverplum Avenue shortly before 2:15 a.m., said Twis Lizasuain, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
“When an employee attempted to activate the alarm, one of the suspects saw him and became aggressive with the employee,” Lizasuain said. “Another suspect fired a shot towards the employee but missed.” Surveillance footage showed the clerk shoving one of the robbers and chasing them out of the convenience store. During the tussle, the clerk told investigators he heard one of the robbers shout to his armed accomplice, “Shoot him!” Detectives said the shot missed the clerk by inches.
