Keeping the momentum from his new EP Dark Days going in full swing, artist/producer Arcade Droyd unleashes a cinematic new visual for standout track “Empty Clips” officially out now, directed by The Big Bama & 89 Crowns. The white-and-black movie-like video features an attention-grabbing storyline of robberies and getaways, mixed in with some much-appreciated humor/satire and a slew of exciting performance shots. The high energy track (produced by Arcade himself) calls for an active and energetic video and that’s exactly what fans got. From the brain-piercing imagery, the special CGI effects and the in-your-face energy from start to finish, it’s fair to say this new visual surpasses your average rap video.
At the end of April, the versatile DC hitmaker dropped his most recent EP Dark Days featuring 7 hard-hitting tracks all produced by Arcade himself. Led by “Empty Clips” and “Hills” amongst others, the EP brought in over 100,000 streams after the first couple weeks it was released proving Droyd delivered a well-received body of work. Planning to attack the 4th quarter in a fierce way, Droyd is currently working on a follow-up EP that will continue the story he was telling on Dark Days. Fans can also expect more high quality music videos that will follow suit of “Empty Clips”.
