Today is Thanksgiving and Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey have give fans of The Diplomats a reason to give thanks. The Harlem crew has dropped Diplomatic Ties, their first album together in 15 years. Dipset delivered nine tracks accented by their classic sound and swag. Lending their lyrical abilities to the project are the legendary LOX clique, Tory Lanez, Belly and Trav. Dipset member Un Kasa holds down the outro.
To celebrate the release of Diplomatic Ties, The Set has announced that they will be performing at a special concert at The Apollo Theater tomorrow (Friday, November 23). “We are committed to celebrating the legacy of Black music and its effect on popular culture,” said the Apollo’s executive producer Kamilah Forbes in a statement. “Dipset is a perfect example of a group that started here in Harlem and made an impact on music that lasted decades.”
