There are many dating apps. Some are good for finding potential partners. Some are good for finding a quick hook-up. However, there isn’t an app that guarantees you some action. That is until now. Cuddlr is a new app on the scene. It’s for folks who long for a good spooning session with somebody else.
The app hooks you up with people in your vicinity looking for a good, platonic cuddling session. You are show pictures of people in your area looking to snuggle with somebody. Once you make a cuddle connection, you designate a spot for spooning, meet up and do the deed. If you like a photo and your like isn’t reciprocated in a 15 minute time window, the match will not be made. Users cuddling abilities are then rated by their partner.
Founder, Charlie Williams explained:
A cuddle is longer than a hug, but shorter than a date, so you’re not faced with having to sit through a drink or two if you’ve decided someone isn’t for you: you can politely end a cuddle any time. People uninterested in dating, whether because they’re already in a relationship, or not pursuing a relationship, will enjoy having a way to experience a connection with someone without any pressure to dress up, find an activity, exchange numbers or even see each other again.
Time adds an important question: will this be a new loophole in cheating? Can a little spooning stay platonic?
