Footage Released Of A Washington Judge Chasing Down Inmates Who Tried To Escape From His Courtroom

Footage has been released of a judge in Chehalis, WA removing his robe and chasing down two inmates that tried to book it out of his courtroom.

The video, which was obtained by The Daily Chronicle, captures the moment that Judge R.W. Buzzard leaped into action as Tanner Jacobsen, 22, and Kodey Howard, 28, made the mad dash out of his courtroom while handcuffed and down the courthouse steps.

Judge Buzzard was able to grab Howard before he made his way out of the exit. Jacobsen was ahead and made it a few blocks from the courthouse before being apprehended by the authorities. Both men have been charged with second-degree escape.
