Wu-Tang Clan’s own Ghostface Killah will release his new studio album, The Lost Tapes, alongside legendary underground producer Big Ghost on October 5. The collective goal was to bring fans back to the Ironman/Supreme Clientele/Cuban Linx era sound. Both Ghosts set out to revive that feeling, update it for 2018 and create another certified Wu-Tang banger!
The Lost Tapes also features an all-star lineup including Snoop Dogg, E-40, Big Daddy Kane, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Cappadonna Killah Priest, Sheek Louch, Ras Kass, Michael Rappaport and more.
After announcing the new project a few weeks ago with “Saigon Velour,” Ghostface returns with “Buckingham Palace,” which features Griselda Gang’s Benny The Butcher, KXNG Crooked, and 38 Spesh. “Benny and the entire Griselda camp definitely got the torch right now and his style is impeccable. Spesh and G Rap just dropped an album and any emcee that can go bar for bar with G Rap has my admiration” Ghost commented to XXL. “Crooked is one of those emcees that is universally respected and one of the west coast’s elite. Put it all together and you got a marvelous feast for your ears no doubt.”
