Juelz Santana Surrenders Days After Dipping From Newark Airport In TSA Gun Bust

Over the weekend, social media was ablaze with gifs and memes about Dipset’s Juelz Santana. On Friday evening, TSA agents at Newark Liberty International Airport found a gun in the rapper’s luggage. When that happened, Juelz dipped from the airport without being caught. Now, reports indicate that he has turned himself in to authorities.

According to NBC New York, Juelz (government name LaRon Louis James) turned himself in around half past midnight early this morning. He is still being processed at Newark Airport Police Station. He could be facing felony charges.

On Friday night, Juelz was going through the screening area at Terminal C around 6 PM on Friday evening when agents found a firearm in his carry-on luggage. When this happened, Juelz booked it out of the airport and possibly hopped in a cab.

TSA regulations state that bringing a weapon to an airport security checkpoint is punishable by a fine and in some cases could lead to an arrest. The fine can be as high as $9,800.
