Legendary 86-Year-Old Thief Doris Payne Arrested AGAIN!!!

Surprise, surprise. It appears that famed 86-year-old jewel thief Doris Payne has been arrested yet again for shoplifting. Payne was caught at a Dekalb County, GA Walmart and charged.

According to WSB-TV 2 Atlanta:

According to the police report obtained by Channel 2 Action News, police were called to the store around 5 p.m. for a report of a woman shoplifting items.

Police said the woman, later identified as Payne, tried hiding items from the pharmacy department, the electronics department and the grocery department.

According to the police report, Payne swiped items worth a total of $86.22.

Doris Payne is a notorious jewel thief who has stolen over $2 million worth of booty throughout her longer than 60-year career. All of her past criminal exploits have been documented in the Netflix documentary The Life & Crimes of Doris Payne.
