Buffalo emcee Lucky Seven has been making moves in the rap game for years, since his college days at Howard University when he co-founded his Howhood University Records imprint. As of late, he’s been fine-tuning his skills not only as an emcee, but as a producer and engineer. He opened a studio in the “Ruff Buff” which has become a valued workspace for quite a few Buffalo artists, including Griselda Records emcees Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher.
This afternoon, Luck Seven dropped off his latest track, “Magic Tricks,” featuring Conway. The two have collaborated in the past with the viral “Temple” and “Joffrey.” The song will appear on Luck’s new album, 53CREE: BAD LUCK, which will be dropping on Friday (October 19). The track is produced by Lucky Seven, with multi-platinum selling producer Droyd adding his touch on the keys.
