It seems as though Philadelphia emcee Meek Mill can’t seem to stay away from the long arm of the law. After two probation violations, now Meek is facing more time behind bars.
Before he blew up, Meek was convicted on drug dealing and gun possession charges in 2008. He spent eight months in the slammer for these charges. This is the reason he is on probation now. Between then and now, the MMG artist faced various troubles for violating his probation and has been in-and-out of jail for month-long stretches. Most recently, in 2015, a judge put him on house arrest for leaving Pennsylvania to attend the American Music Awards without approval.
The new violations are the fight that he got in at a St. Louis airport in March and the August reckless driving charge he caught in NYC on his dirt bike. Though both of those charges have been dropped, according to TMZ, Meek must appear in court on Monday to address the charges in front of a judge. Depending on how the judge rules, he could be sentenced to up to 20 months.
Meek has to watch his step. The judge warned that if he gets in any more trouble between then and now, the consequences could be severe.
