Meek Mill Sentenced To 2-4 Years In State Prison For Probation Violation

It looks like Philly emcee Meek Mill is about to go on vacation yet again. Last week, it was reported that the MMG rapper was to appear in front of a judge today for probation violations. In recent months, he caught a reckless driving charge in New York Today and got into an altercation at a St. Louis airport.

Today, a judge sentenced Meek to two to four years in state prison for the violations. Though those charges were eventually dropped, the arrests were enough for the judge to send the Dream Chasers leader away.

The probation stems from a 2008 conviction for drugs and a gun. Further compounding the problem was Meek’s violation in 2015 when he left the state of Pennsylvania without permission to attend the American Music Awards in Cali.

Sending our best to Meek, his family and his team He’ll be back soon enough, but damn. Two to four years will really be a setback to his career.
