MMG’s Philly representative, Meek Mill, is breathing a sigh of relief this afternoon. At his much anticipated sentencing hearing, Meek was sentenced to house arrest, instead of being sent to jail, for violating his probation terms.
According to TMZ, the judge sentenced Meek to six to 12 months in county jail, but will allow him to serve his term at home. He will do a minimum of 90 days, in which he cannot work, meaning no recording or performing. He will be able to do charity work within that time. At the duration of those 90 days, the judge will reevaluate the situation and determine how much more time he must serve.
It looks like the bars Meek spit on his last 4/4 EP’s will be the last time we hear from the bul for a little bit. In case you haven’t heard them, check them out below.
