Philly emcee Meek Mill has been in many a headline since his release from state prison a few weeks ago. It was highly publicized when he was released, picked up from the Chester, PA state prison in a helicopter and attended his hometown Philadelphia Sixers’ playoff game.
Meek has been on a press run as of late, granting interviews with many high-profile figures, sometimes with his attorney in tow. He has pretty much become a poster boy for criminal justice reform and has made his feelings known. Yesterday, after skipping out on a criminal justice event hosted by US president Donald Trump (at the behest of JAY-Z), the MMG spitter made his rounds in his city of Philly to discuss his situation, how he views the criminal justice system and his future plans.
