Without a doubt, one of (if not the) worst acts a human being can commit is rob a child of his/her in innocence by sexually abusing them. The physical, psychological and emotional torment is something no kid should ever endure. In this reporter’s opinion, jail time (even if it’s life) is not enough of a punishment for folks who violate children. Alas, oftentimes, incarceration is the best we can hope for. A rather egregious violator of young Russian girls, Yusef Yunosovich Abramov, 58, from Los Angeles, was brought to “justice” yesterday, when he was sentenced to 150 years in prison, along with a lifetime of supervised release (which shouldn’t matter).
Abramov was convicted on five felony counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places in November of last year. His case was brought forth as a part of Project Safe Childhood, “a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice.” In June 2009, he flew from LA to Russia and raped a 12-year-old girl. After doing the unthinkable, he threatened to cut her head off and play soccer with it, if she told anyone. He returned to Russia that November and sexually abused even more minor girls.
Guided by his belief that local schoolgirls contacted the authorities, Abromov and three accomplices ran down on three minor girls in Russia. Brandishing a knife, Abramov threatened to kill the trio of terrified schoolgirls, then each man proceeded to rape the girls. After further threats, Abramov continued to rape at least two of the girls for the duration of his trip.
The world is a better place with trash like Yusef Abramov rotting in prison forever.
