Rosanna Grullon has had a lot to deal with in the past few months with the murder of her teenage son, documented Bronx gangster Christopher Duran. However, she has a lot more on her plate after her recent last week for shoplifting close to $35,000 in merchandise from Victoria’s Secret locations at 165 E. 86th St. and 722 Lexington Ave.
Grullon had reportedly been finessing Victoria’s Secret out of tens of thousands of pricey panties from October 25 to November 14. On eight occasions, the grieving mother walked out of the shops with a total of $34,677 worth of their popular stock. On the 14th, she was caught by store security after being recognized from previous incidents. She dropped her bag which contained 85 pairs of underwear worth $1,000 when approached. He had been caught on surveillance tapes before.
More than likely, she will be joining the ranks of the incarcerated, along with two dozen members of the 6 Wild Bloods, who were indicted in connection with her son’s killing. Christopher Duran, 14, a troubled youth with a lengthy rap sheet, was gunned down in May near his home in the Bronx as he and his little brother walked to school. Christopher was reportedly a member of the 280 Crew, a Crips faction said to be rivals of 6 Wild. His older brother was said to be “a very active leader” in the 280 set. Travis Bloch, 28, and Jeremiah Thomas, 16, were accused of “emptying a full clip” into Christopher that fateful day. Bloch fainted in the courtroom when the prosecutor read that he was facing 25 years to life in prison for the hit.
