Chicago Hip-Hop artist “Yung Stakks” hails from the city’s westside and tells HHW he’s had a strong passion for music since a very young age. Stakks credits Cash Money Records as one of his strongest early influencers, with his favorite artist being Lil Wayne.
In 2014, Stakks signed to Chine Music, home to fellow Chi-Town artists Keish Keish, Sly Polaroid & Bump J, and made his music debut as a solo artist with the release of his single “Stakk Money”, which was featured on “MTV Jams.”
Many industry insiders say Stakks gained heavy momentum from his standout performance at Oreo Fest, but HHW was in attendance when industry heavy “50 Cent” randomly invited Stakks to perform at his Chicago event due to heavy fan requests.
Stakks went on to rock the soldout crowd into a frenzy with his high energy performance. Stakks is set to release his firt solo project “In My Own Lane” hosted by Don Cannon available on Dat Piff exclusively. The video for the projects first official leak “Sell Dope & GangBang” feat. G Herbo (Lil Herb) has close to one million views and counting. Some of the producers on this project include Sonny Digital, Arch Tha Boss (Nicki Minaj “Wanna Buy Heart”), Dj Fu (EarDrummers).
Be on the look out for Yung Stakks “Day in the Life” Vlog with ThisIs50.com’s Jack Thriller and his “Ballin” Music Video Directed By Will Gates and produced by Zaytoven.
