Peep ‘Long Live The Pimp: A Documentary on the Life and Legacy of Pimp C’
On December 4, 2007, the hip-hop community lost a giant when Chad “Pimp C” Butler passed away. Co-founder of the legendary rap group UGK (Underground Kingz), with Bun B, The Pimp helped introduce the world to what the South had to offer as far as hip-hop was concerned.
In its latest installment of Complex Originals, Complex Magazine has produced a mini-documentary about the life, career and influence of Pimp C, titled ‘Long Live The Pimp’: A Documentary on the Life and Legacy of Pimp C. The close to half hour production features commentary from Bun B, Michael “5000” Watts, Nas, DJ Paul, Jermaine Dupri and more who were close to Pimp C and his endeavors.
