Ryan Coogler is a young, Black director in Hollywood, but he is off to amazing start to what is shaping up to be a great career. His first two films, ‘Fruitvale Station’ and ‘Creed’ are already critically acclaimed hits and tomorrow on Friday, his highly anticipated Marvel film, ‘Black Panther,’ is slated to hit theaters and is on pace to smash records. Coogler stopped through Hot 97 to chop it up with Ebro, Laura Stylez and Rosenberg about the film, Black girl power and building the fictional African kingdom of Wakanda. Check it out above.
