Over the weekend, social media was up in arms over comments comedian Lil Duval made about transgender people. He pretty much said that he’d be so mad that he’d want to kill a transgender woman if he slept with them and didn’t know she was once a man. People were upset with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy for seemingly laughing with Duval, especially after having transgender activist Janet Mock on the show earlier in the week. Some even went so far as to call for a boycott of the Breakfast Club and its sponsors.
This morning, the Breakfast Club defended themselves, saying they did check Duval and feeling they should not be held accountable for his words. What do you think?
