The Feds Turn Up Even More On Detroit’s Seven Mile Bloods With RICO Indictments

Not too long ago, we reported on the announcement of the Detroit One Partnership task force crusade to dismantle the Seven Mile Bloods (SMB), of East Detroit. Law enforcement has blamed the gang for a swath of violence that has wreaked havoc on their turf, known as the “Red Zone” or “4-8-2-0-Die” (a play on the the 48205 zip code). There, the SMB has been embroiled in combat with an alliance of other local gangs, including the Hustle Boys, East Warren, Six Mile Chedda Ave., Gutta Boys, Maxout 220, BossHogs and Hustle.  The gang is also accused of running an interstate “opioid pipeline” from The D into West Virginia and Charleston, due to SMB members being arrested for drug trafficking.

At the time of the announcement, only three alleged SMB members were indicted. Billy “B-Man” Arnold, 29, was charged with attempted murder in aid of racketeering; assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering; use of a firearm during, and in relation to, a crime of violence, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
