In the cult-classic film Scarface, Tony Montana (played by Al Pacino) is supplied by cocaine by Bolivian plug of plugs Alejandro Sosa (the man who sent a hit squad to kill Tony and end his reign). You may not have known, but Alejandro Sosa was based on a real, prominent figure in the cocaine boom of the 1980s. His name was Roberto Suarez of Bolivia, who was so big that he supplied Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel. This video tells his story. (Spoiler: He only did seven years in prison. Died a free man in 2000).
