Graduating high school is an exciting time for 12th graders all over. Graduation can also be kind of intimidating to 17 and 18-year-olds. They are about to step out into the real world for the first time and need to make decisions crucial to their own future. A Las Vegas strip club is trying to make that decision a little easier for the 18-year-old girls leaving high school by offering them jobs as exotic dancers.
Little Darlings strip club has taken to the streets to recruit recent high school grads to perform on their stage. Little Darlings has placed ads on Vegas roadways with signs reading, “Now auditioning the class of 2015,” and “Pay your way through college.” “It fits in with Vegas. Vegas is always going to be Vegas,” Little Darlings manager Rick Marzullo stated. “We all know the economy isn’t that great, [and] it’s hard to find jobs sometimes. This is an open door for young women 18 years old and up to come and make some good money,”
There are a number of young women who perform on strip club stages to pay for college throughout the country. It seems that Little Darlings is using this as a jumping point for their recruitment. “Hundreds that are either in college or that have worked their way through college [strip or have stripped], and like I said, without one penny of debt, not having to take out student loans, not having to borrow money from family or friends or taking out loans from banks,” said Marzullo.
Some seem to be upset that the strip club is taking such a brash approach. Is Little Darlings going over the line by advertising jobs to young high school grads?
