“Don’t Come Back To Jamaica” Says Jamaica’s Head Of Returnees Association

According to Percival LaTouche, president of the Jamaica Association for the Resettlement of Returning Residents, if you are a native Jamaican who has moved overseas, it is in your best interest to stay where you are. He has warned Jamaicans that moving back home could mean the end of your life. “It makes no sense you spend 20, 30, or 40 years overseas working hard only to return home for people to kill you,” he said. LaTouche’s remarks were inspired by the killings of multiple people who moved back home to Jamaica after living overseas.
