Due To Alabama Law, Teen Sentenced To 65 Years In Prison For A Killing Committed By Police

An Alabama teenager being tried as an adult has been sentenced to 65 years in prison after turning down a plea deal for 25 years. Lakeith Smith was convicted for a killing police committed while he and others were robbing houses, under Alabama’s Accomplice Liability Law.
