Kim Kardashian-West Asking California’s Governor To Help Women In Prison

After urging President Trump to commute the sentence of Alice Marie Johnson —and succeeding — Kim Kardashian isn’t stopping her fight for criminal justice reform. She visited a women’s prison and is now calling on California Governor Jerry Brown to sign a bill to protect women inmates. “I do hope @GovBrown will sign AB2550 to grant #DignityForIncarceratedWomen #cut50.” Kardashian is urging Governor Brown to sign Assembly Bill 2550, which would limit how male prison guards can contact female prisoners.

Watch here to see Kim K’s first meeting with Alice Walker after she was released from prison.
