Legendary Mobster Vincent Asaro & Gotti’s Grandson Arrested for Road Rage Incident

On Wednesday mobster Vincent Asaro was arrested for allegedly torching a car that had cut him off in traffic. The 78-year-old, who made headlines two years ago by beating charges related to a legendary heist made famous by filmmaker Martin Scorsese in his classic film Goodfellas, is a third generation member of the Bonanno crime family, and is scheduled to be arraigned on arson charges. Also charged in the arson was John J. Gotti, grandson of the notorious Gambino crime family boss. According to acting U.S. Attorney Bridget Rohde, the defendants “are charged with committing an assortment of violent crimes – arson to exact punishment for a perceived slight and robberies to unjustly enrich themselves.”
