Lil Durk – “Neighborhood Hero” [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Life for Chicago drill veteran (and former Don Diva cover story subject) Lil Durk has been pretty good. Since the first Signed To The Streets release in 2013, he’s moved to ATL, kicked lean, become a pescatarian, and is in love. On the business side of things, he parted ways with Def Jam, secured a new bag from Alamo, and bossed up by launching his own label imprint, Only The Family. Now, he is gearing up to release Signed To The Streets 3 and has a new video to for the streets.

Durk just released his new video for “Neighborhood Hero” on Friday about the necessity and importance of everyday people helping out in their communities. Snippets from the video have been made into a series of montages featuring Meek Mill, Trae Tha Truth, Nipsey Hussle, T.I., and others, each of whom will be sharing the message on their own Instagram accounts throughout the coming week. Meek Mill was the first to share on Saturday:

Durk explained, “It feels good to be in a place now where I can give back to my community. Coming from I’m from, I never expected to be looked at as a hero, but it feels good to inspire kids who look up to me now and think, ‘If Durk can do it, so can I.’ I want to continue to uplift and that’s why I formally set up my non-profit earlier this year, called Neighborhood Heroes. In addition to setting up turkey drives and backpack drives again, we are going to be doing bigger and better things.”
