O Block Natives Respond To 6ix9ine Pulling Up In The Hood

Brooklyn upstart rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is the subject of many a social media post because of his constant beefs, that span across the nation. One of his most recent riffs is with Chicago rappers, such as Chief Keef, Tadoe and Lil Reese. There has been a back and forth on social media and Keef and company flew to NYC (only to be shot at). Now, social media is abuzz about 6ix9ine flying out to Chicago. With security/police in tow, the rainbow-haired rapper filmed himself doing charitable deeds for Chi-Town residents. He also filmed himself alone on O Block, Chief Keef’s old stomping grounds in the Chi. According to Kollege Kid:

O Block was the name given to Parkway Gardens, a low-income housing complex located on 64th street and King drive in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. It was named in honor of 20-year-old Odee Perry who was murdered Aug. 11, 2011 after he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the neck near the housing project.

The Chicago Sun-Times once dubbed the area “Chicago’s Most Dangerous Block.” Nevertheless, O Block natives certainly came out to see if they could even get a glimpse of 6ix9ine. In this video, folks said that 6ix9ine ran when he saw them coming. We’ll see where this goes. Peep the video above.
