Yac House- “’96 Draft (Yac House Anthem)” [AUDIO]

The 1996 NBA Draft went down as one of the most talent-laden in history. Names such as Stephon Marbury, Marcus Camby, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Ray Allen all started their pro careers at that point. Most notably, the Philadelphia 76ers picked up their legend, Allen Iverson, first overall. Also, Kobe Bryant started his illustrious tenure (along with Derek Fisher). Showing homage to that level of talent in that draft and the dominant Bad Boy sound of that era, the roster of Yac House Entertainment presents “’96 Anthem (Yac House Anthem).” Yac House artists Newz Huddle and I Know Brasco (from West and North Philly respectively) bring the lyrically, fluent flows Philly rap is known for. Adding some Harlem/NYC swag and flare to the track is Wise Vega, as Gedo adds some raw Chicago influence. Overall, the song lives up to its influences with fire bars and a slick instrumental.

Rumor has it that Yac House is in talks with Bad Boy gawd Puff Daddy and classic-rapper-turned-podcast-sensation Noreaga about a possible remix.
