Yo Gotti Named As Person Of Interest In Young Dolph Shooting
If you are in tune with the hip-hop community, you have probably heard that Memphis emcee Young Dolph was shot recently. This is the second attempt on his life. The first time, more than 100 shots were fired at his bulletproof SUV. This time, he was shot in the behind and arm in the valet area of a Loews Hotel in Hollywood.
Now it is being reported that fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti has been named as a person of interest in the latest shooting. TMZ reports:
Law enforcement sources tell us Gotti and Young Dolph were both staying at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood Tuesday when their crews got into some sort of disagreement. We’re told just a short time later, shots were fired outside the hotel.
One of Gotti’s associates, Corey McClendon, was arrested for the shooting and charged with attempted murder. He is being held on $1 million bail. The authorities are still looking for two other men in connection with the shooting.
The first time Dolph was shot at, Yo Gotti’s artist, Blac Youngsta, was sought out for the crime. He turned himself in for it.
